1. Using the site
By accessing or using RandomPokemon.net, you agree to use the site in a lawful way and to respect these terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the site. Some features also depend on third-party services whose own terms and policies may apply when your browser communicates with them.
RandomPokemon.net provides browser-based generators, calculators, planning tools, reference pages, games, share links, and related informational content. The service may change over time as data sources, browsers, game mechanics, hosting systems, or site priorities change.
2. Independent fan-site status
RandomPokemon.net is an independent fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak, The Pokémon Company, or Pokémon Showdown. Pokémon names, characters, artwork, game titles, and related trademarks or intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
References to Pokémon species, regions, moves, abilities, types, mechanics, and games are used to identify the subject matter of the tools and references. The site does not claim ownership of official Pokémon intellectual property and does not grant you rights in third-party intellectual property.
3. Entertainment, planning, and reference purposes
The site is intended for fan entertainment, challenge creation, planning, learning, and general reference. Random results are not official game outcomes. Calculators and data tools are designed to be useful, but a result can be incomplete or wrong because of data gaps, version differences, form handling, browser problems, upstream changes, or implementation errors.
When a decision matters for a tournament, a specific game version, a competitive legality rule, a purchase, or another consequential use, verify the final information against the relevant official rules or another authoritative source. A tool label such as “Gen 4,” “FireRed,” or “version-aware” describes the supported logic; it is not a guarantee that every edge case from that game is represented.
4. No ROM, account, or official-service modification
The Random Pokémon Generator and related tools do not patch ROM files, alter official game binaries, modify console firmware, access Nintendo accounts, or change Pokémon Trainer Club accounts. The site does not provide copyrighted game downloads, account recovery, account trading, cheat distribution, or access to paid official content.
If you are looking for support with an official Pokémon product or account, use the support channel provided by the relevant official operator. RandomPokemon.net cannot restore saves, reverse marketplace transactions, recover credentials, or troubleshoot official servers.
5. Browser storage, share links, and exports
Many site features store settings, recent state, progress, or history in your browser. Browser-local state can disappear if you clear site data, use private browsing, switch browser profiles, or move to another device. The site does not promise permanent cloud backup for ordinary tool state.
Some tools let you create share URLs or exports. Anyone who receives a share URL may be able to read the configuration encoded in that link. You are responsible for deciding what you share and for avoiding private or sensitive information in URLs, support emails, copied text, or exported files.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the public tools for normal personal, educational, fan, and research purposes consistent with these terms. You may not intentionally interfere with the site, overload infrastructure, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware through the service, impersonate the project, or use the site to facilitate unlawful activity.
You may not use automated traffic, click farms, bots, scripts, or coordinated behavior to create artificial advertising impressions or clicks. Do not click advertisements for the purpose of supporting the site, testing ad revenue, or manipulating advertiser costs. Advertising interaction must be genuine and voluntary.
Do not present RandomPokemon.net as an official Pokémon service or imply an endorsement that does not exist. If you link to the site, describe it accurately as an independent fan-made tool site.
7. Third-party data, services, and links
The site uses or references third-party resources such as PokeAPI-derived data, sprite sources, hosting and content-delivery infrastructure, analytics, and advertising services. External websites and providers control their own availability, security, licenses, cookies, terms, and privacy practices.
An external link is provided for reference or functionality and does not mean RandomPokemon.net endorses every statement, product, or service on the destination site. Third-party outages or API changes can temporarily reduce site functionality.

8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site usable, but continuous availability is not guaranteed. Features can be changed, repaired, removed, or replaced without advance notice when necessary for security, policy compliance, technical maintenance, data quality, performance, or product direction.
Cached pages and static assets can occasionally cause a browser or content-delivery network to show an older version for a short period. If a page behaves unexpectedly, a normal refresh or later retry may resolve a deployment transition. Persistent problems should be reported through the Contact page.
9. No warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RandomPokemon.net is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free data, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every browser, device, game version, tournament rule, or third-party service.
We try to correct verified problems and describe important limitations, but we cannot promise that every random pool, calculation, sprite, learnset, encounter table, or explanatory statement is complete at all times.
10. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, RandomPokemon.net and its maintainers are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from reliance on a tool result, loss of browser-local state, a third-party outage, an external website, or ordinary use of the site. This does not exclude responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any result or configuration that is important to you and for verifying information before relying on it in a consequential setting.
11. Privacy and advertising
Use of the site is also subject to the Privacy Policy. The site uses Google Analytics and includes Google AdSense-related code. Third-party advertising may use cookies or identifiers where permitted. Visitors must not manipulate ad impressions or clicks, and advertising should not be treated as a required step for accessing core content.
12. Changes to these terms
